Vacation with Ross and Mr. Receptionist is a free interactive game from independent developer ChaniMK. It tells the story of Ross and his friend Aries who, while on vacation, meet a charming receptionist determined to make their stay memorable. With 3 different endings, it’s up to you to decide their fates.

As a sequel to Disillusioned Reunion, Vacation with Ross and Mr. Receptionist fleshes out the characters of Ross and Aries. It features the same visual style as ChaniMK’s other games, like Forgive my Sins, Father. In terms of storytelling, it is comparable to Royal Order from Nifty Visuals.

Lots of questions to be answered

Vacation with Ross and Mr. Receptionist picks up where Disillusioned Reunion left off. As childhood best friends, Aries and Ross left touch after Ross moved to a new country. When they reconnected, they discovered there’s more to their relationship than platonic love.

After discovering that Aries is long overdue for a vacation, Ross convinces him to try a beach resort together. However, they’re met by a charming receptionist when they arrive. Will he come between them, or will the bond between Ross and Aries grow even stronger?

Featuring 15 computer graphics (CGs) and at a length of 15,000 words, Vacation with Ross and Mr. Receptionist is an in-depth visual novel that is driven by the character development of Ross and Aries. Though the illustrations may leave something to be desired, the story itself is engaging.

Vacation with Ross and Mr. Receptionist also features 3 different endings. As you progress through the game, you can unlock each one to reveal a new fate for the characters you’ll have come to know well.
